From the heart of Hollywood to now residing with his family in the San Fernando Valley, Byron is well acquainted with the greater Los Angeles area. Growing up, his stomping grounds cover West Los Angeles to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame , the Mid-City suburbs, beautiful beaches from Marina del Rey to Malibu, and refined his business sales and banking in both Downtown LA and Beverly Hills. His knowledge of such diverse neighborhoods and markets allow him to guide motivated buyers through their journey to pinpoint the right place for them to call home. The “Vela Team” put their 20+ years of combined Real Estate knowledge to work by narrowing down the perfect pricing and marketing strategy for each listing ensuring the best bang for every seller’s buck.
In addition to his enthusiasm for Real Estate, Byron maintains a passion for helping the community at large. He has worked for years as a youth mentor, and most recently serves the formerly incarcerated population assisting them in their mental, spiritual, and psychological healing, securing employment, financial literacy, and life long recovery. With the belief that everyone deserves the dignity of freedom and a home, he devotes his career to helping each person of any class, race, and gender, to realize their dreams and secure a thriving future.
In his spare time you’ll find Byron belting out a “Hamilton” song or two with his daughters, playing pretend with his son, creating wonderful memories with his wife Helen, and investing time in his fitness journey.
